New Zealand Paparoa National Park (2020)

This artwork depicts New Zealand Paparoa National Park, I was inspired to create this art after finding out New Zealand was the first country to give women the vote, which is why I made the day look stormy, to symbolise the strength of women, how powerful we can be and how we should not be underestimated. The colours I tried to convey was mainly natural colours, from the grey sky to the jagged murky rocks, to the blues and greens in the oceans. I wanted to give the effect of Mother Nature.
